HSA and Flex Spending - can be used for exams, contact lenses glasses, sunglasses and copays!

If you don’t have a separate vision plan, many times medical plans offer a routine eye exam as part of your medical benefit. Please contact your carrier to find out, and be sure to ask if the exam is subject to your deductible.

Patients with medical conditions such as diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, dry eye disease, etc., may be eligible for a comprehensive medical eye exam through their major medical plan.

Visits for injuries, red eyes, pain, diabetic eye exams and other eye diseases will be billed under medical insurance, even if there is a vision plan.

For our patients without vision insurance we offer packages and discounts for glasses!
